  • Composite pipe systems – Bondstrand® GRE
  • Composite pressure vessels – ASME X, BS 4994 & BS EN 13923
  • Composite structures: – Access Structures, Handrails, Ladders, Gates, Phenolic Grating

Bondstrand™ 2000M/7000M for Marine & Offshore

 Bondstrand 2000M

Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipe system. Standard 0.5 mm internal resin-rich reinforced liner.

  • Maximum operating temperature: 93°C (for higher temperature rating, consult NOV Fiber Glass Systems).
  • Maximum pressure rating: 17.2 bar (250 psi) for 1 – 16 inch, 16.0 bar (232 psi) for 18 – 40 inch.
  • Minimum pressure: full vacuum.
  • External Pressure Requirements: In accordance with IMO Regulations.

Bondstrand 7000M (*conductive)

  • Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipe system.
  • Maximum operating temperature: 93°C (for higher temperature rating, consult NOV Fiber Glass Systems) with comingled carbon fibers.
  • Maximum pressure rating: 17.2 bar (250 psi) for 1 – 16 inch, 16.0 bar (232 psi) for 18 – 40 inch.
  • Minimum pressure: full vacuum.
  • External Pressure Requirements: In accordance with IMO Regulations.

* Conductive – Our conductive pipe systems have been developed to prevent accumulation of potentially dangerous levels of static electrical charges. Pipe, fittings and flanges contain high strength conductive filaments. Together with a conductive adhesive this provides an electrically continuous system.

Bondstrand Composite Pressure Vessels

We design and manufacture premium quality Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite pressure vessels which are the perfect fit for demanding offshore applications. Our pressure vessels use the same material, and filament wound manufacturing process as Bondstrand™ piping, which has been extensively used in offshore applications for the last 50 years. Manufactured using high quality glass and epoxy resin, and available from from 4 to 60 in. diameter, our FRP composite pressure vessels provide a lightweight and corrosion resistant alternative to metallic pressure vessels.

Using a combination of our unique Advanced Design and Advanced Manufacturing (ADAM) capabilities, and the outstanding reputation for quality that Bondstrand piping has; we can manufacture FRP pressure vessels to client specified design codes, including ASME X.

In-house capabilities in cutting-edge design and innovation, specialist fabrications, and a comprehensive range of engineering services allows our team of experts to provide high quality and tolerance, advanced automated manufacturing equipment and processes, as well as an all-inclusive solution, from offshore surveys, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computer Aided Design (CAD), through to manufacture and installation.

Composite structures: – Access Structures, Handrails, Ladders, Gates, Phenolic Grating

Structural integrity, weight and corrosion resistance are essential factors to consider in harsh offshore environments. We design and manufacture structural FRP products using high quality Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite materials which provide the optimum solution to these challenges.

Manufactured from phenolic resins, our FRP structures provide high temperature resistance, low smoke, and low toxic fume emissions, making them the ideal material choice for offshore applications.

Our structural FRP products can be customized, and are in daily use on offshore projects worldwide, providing assurance and confidence to users and owners.

Supported by cutting-edge design and innovation, specialist fabrications capabilities and a comprehensive range of engineering services, our team of experts provide an all-inclusive solution, ranging from offshore surveys, Computer Aided Design (CAD), through to manufacture and installation.
